6—Clean Water
Do you and your friends take clean drinking water for granted? Millions of people have to do much more than turn on the faucet to get a drink. Imagine walking to the community well to get your water, or waiting your turn at the local watering hole. If you're sharing your drinking water with four-legged creatures, you're definitely going to have to filter the water before you drink it or you could get very sick. It's way more work than turning on the faucet! Click here to see what kids around the world do for drinking water. (You may want to ask your teacher or a parent to read these stories aloud.)
