This journey originates from Spokane, Washington whose residents, along with north Idaho's, share the Spokane Valley - Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer, which you'll learn about later in this trip. The extent of our aquifer is seen above as the 'middle' blue. In addition to our local groundwater concerns, you'll also be introduced to national water issues.
