EPA Classroom Activities & Experiments

The Water Dance: Using Science and Poetry To Investigate and Interpret the Water Cycle. This curriculum unit is designed to entice sixth graders initially to learn about and ultimately to care about water.

What is an Aquifer? Grades 7-9. This lesson demonstrates the meaning of the terms groundwater, porosity, aquifer, and water table*. It helps students better understand how and why water is stored underground, and what can happen if the water is drained or polluted.
