Now Hiring – Project Manager / Senior Inspector
The Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District is seeking a qualified Project Manager / Senior Inspector to support the planning, construction, inspection, and close-out of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
This position plays a key role in coordinating with engineers, contractors, developers, regulatory agencies, and District staff to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with District standards and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage public works projects from design through construction and close-out
- Review plans, specifications, and permits for compliance
- Inspect construction activities for water and wastewater facilities
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and agencies
- Assist with capital planning, grant compliance, and project documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum of six (6) years of related experience in public works, utilities, or construction inspection (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to obtain required certifications (Water Distribution Manager, CCS, BAT, or equivalent)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly range: $31.47 – $49.72 (DOE)
